Mexican Palm Baskets
These beautiful palm baskets are handwoven in Oaxaca and Guerrero, Mexico. The local Amugos walk up the mountains, cut the palm, boil, and put it in the sun to dry. Makaua transports the baskets to leather workshops in the local towns, where the leather handles are attached. Previously available only in Germany, we are privileged to work with Makaua to bring these to our customers.
