About Us

We are a small, family run business based in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We started importing from Morocco in 1985 to supply our store in Washington D.C., and moved on to wholesale exclusively in 1994. We have a clothing line, Nomad, which can be found in small boutiques around the country, and we import our baskets for both wholesale and retail. As a result of our many years working with the artisans and trades-people of Morocco, the quality of our products is very high. We also support good works in Morocco, specifically through the Global Diversity Foundation, which promotes agricultural, biological and cultural diversity. In Morocco, this means supporting small farms in contrast to agri-business, re-greening denuded regions, and connecting craftspeople with business opportunities.
